I would try to plug one of the USB connectors into the Mede8er and the other into a Mains to USB adapter ( like the types supplied with iPhone's/ Tablets/ Samsung Phones etc and see if this helps. It is supplied with a USB 3.0 Y-cable so you are expected to plug both these into the Mede8er. If the file system of Seagate hard drive is corrupted, it won’t be recognized in computer, you can format it to solve this problem.
